Hospital Linen RFID Tracking System
A comprehensive RFID-based linen management system for PT Four Sister International, featuring real-time tracking through UHF RFID gate readers, an interactive KPI dashboard, and automated handover workflows for hospital linen operations.
Client: PT Four Sister International

The Challenge
PT Four Sister International, a hospital textile services provider, faced significant challenges in tracking and managing large volumes of linens across multiple hospital departments. Manual tracking led to high loss rates, delayed handovers, and poor visibility into linen lifecycle status. The company needed a solution that could automatically detect linen movement through RFID gates, monitor stock levels in real-time, and provide actionable analytics on missing items, pending handovers, and linens nearing retirement.
Our Solution
JoyCyber developed a full-stack RFID tracking platform consisting of four integrated components: a Next.js web dashboard with real-time KPI monitoring, charts, and PDF report generation; a NestJS API backend with Prisma ORM handling RFID gate events and bulk scan processing; a Node.js TCP-to-HTTP bridge connecting HW-VX6330K UHF RFID hardware readers to the cloud API with batch buffering and retry queues; and a Flutter mobile application for on-the-go linen management. The system supports live tracking via Socket.io, automated stock opname workflows, department-based linen distribution analytics, and configurable alerts for missing or near-retirement items.
